The Fast Company Impact Council is an invitation-only collective of innovative leaders and the most creative people in business. The group meets several times a year for discussions on some of the greatest opportunities and most pressing challenges of our time.
Now, Fast Company Middle East introduces this powerful program in the region for companies and council members to shape the future.
Key conversations are spotlighted on fastcompanyme.com and special print features with insights from the Impact Council annual meeting.
Participation is open only to members based in the Middle East. Membership is by invitation and nontransferable.

Council members gather for a full day of open discussions and roundtables aimed at highlighting members’ viewpoints on the most urgent business and societal issues of the day. These conversations will form a blueprint for Fast Company’s coverage across 2022 and beyond.
3. Take part in webinars and virtual visits
Curated by Fast Company Middle East, these intimate gatherings give you an opportunity to mingle, ideate, and build relationships with council members and special guests.

As a council member, Fast Company’s editors will rely on you frequently for your expertise, acumen, and perspectives, and members listed in the print issue of Fast Company Middle East.

Our team helps craft a curated experience for members who attend the Fast Company Innovation Festival. Members will also have an opportunity to nominate themselves or others as potential speakers at the festival. Members will also receive a discount on application fees for Fast Company’s recognition programs (Most Innovative Companies, World Changing Ideas, Innovation By Design, Best Workplaces for Innovators, Brands That Matter, Next Big Things in Tech) for their companies and companies the support as investors or board members.

Focused on specific industries act as a think tank—a body of the most inventive founders, energetic CEOs, designers and artists, and visionaries.
1. Artificial Intelligence
Harnessing the power of AI in innovative ways to impact lives, economies and society. Once a buzzword, artificial intelligence is rapidly morphing into something far more powerful: an everyday reality that shapes every industry and sector. The AI sub-committee will deliberate on a wide range of topics on the impact AI will have on humanity.
2. Digital Transformation
The rise of technologies is pushing companies to overhaul legacy systems and plan a cohesive digital transformation. This sub-committee will discuss how businesses can succeed in the digital economy and achieve optimal utilization of key features of digitization.
3. Future Cities
Cities of the future need to be more human and nurture a strong sense of community. How can cities be digital, intelligent, autonomous and inclusive? This sub-committee will discuss how future cities can leverage data to optimise resources.
4. Cognitive Living
Is cognitive living based on collective intelligence, where the urban fabric acts in a proactive manner? How can ongoing changes and interactions between the city and its users be addressed without human intervention and proactively? This sub-committee will deliberate on the potential of cognitive living.
5. Design Thinking
How can design thinking approaches be applied to business? Can it encourage organizations to focus on the people they’re creating for, leading to better products, services, and internal processes?
